Children’s Ministry

All of our children’s ministry volunteers complete an application (including reference and background checks) and attend yearly child protection training to ensure a safe and loving environment for our young ones.

  • Sunday School - Infant-5th grade (at 9:00 am)
    Nursery - Ages 0-3 (during 10:00 am service)
    Children’s Church - Ages 3-5 (during 10:00 am service, after songs)

  • Nursery - Ages 0-4 (during 11:00 am service)
    Junior Church - Ages 5-9 (during 11:00 am service, after songs)

Youth Ministry

  • JAM meets weekly each Sunday evening and is open to all 6th -8th graders. It is a blast of a ministry that is focused on caring for and teaching Junior High students in the community. There are many fun activities for JAM students throughout the year such as retreats, slop fest, and more!

  • Sawyer Highlands Church is the place to be for 9th-12th graders on Monday nights! Sr. High Youth Group is open to the community and everyone is encouraged to bring a friend! We meet weekly at 7pm for a night of fun, games, fellowship, and learning about the Lord. There are also many special activities throughout the year such as our New Year’s party, retreats, missions trips, and much more!

Women’s Ministry

  • We desire to be women who grow in our knowledge of God, learning what it means to walk moment by moment with Him as we are transformed by His love. (Eph 5:2; Jn 10: 4, 27; Jn 15: 4-5)

  • We offer 2 studies a year. One begins in the fall typically running from September to November and one in the spring typically running from February- April. Both studies are primarily focused on learning to study scripture and making formational applications. Our hope is that each woman in our body feels equipped to study God’s word and draw from it spiritual practices that will transform her mind more into the likeness of Christ.

  • We host a yearly women’s retreat that typically occurs in February. It is usually 24-48 hours and varies in location.

  • We offer various one time events throughout the year to promote fellowship and encourage the use of each woman’s gifting. You will find announcements on the weekly church email.

Men’s Ministry

  • Join us throughout the year to learn about spiritual practices, meeting on Saturday mornings once per month.

    Topics we have previous explored include Gratitude, Unplugging, Conversation Prayer, Slowing Down, Spiritual Friendship, Sabbath, Journaling, and Meditation.

  • All ages are welcome to gather for prayer each week at both campuses.

    Tuesday - 7:00 am Sawyer Campus

    Friday - 8:00 am Converge Campus
